Google and Creator of ‘Family Guy’ Strike a Deal – This Is The Future Of Syndication Learn It Now!

The future of innovation was announced in the New York Times today when Google and the creator of Family Guy reach a distribution and compensation deal on the web. This is really the future because now television programs will be directly shipped to cell phones, digital devices, and computers. It is the beginning of change for traditional television and cable as we know it. Convergence is happening so fast that the big corporate entities will not be able to keep up because of the web and digital devices.
The innovative part involves the distribution plan. Google will syndicate the program using its AdSense advertising system to thousands of Web sites that are predetermined to be gathering spots for the Family Guy target audience, typically young men. Instead of placing a static ad on a Web page, Google will place a “Cavalcade” video clip.
